Named the most beautiful hospital in the country, the new state-of-the art 8-story, 292,062 SF Golisano Children’s Hospital was constructed on an operating hospital campus in a joint venture with Skanska. The 128-bed hospital includes an emergency room, diagnostic center, neonatal intensive care unit, pediatric intensive care unit, two medical/surgical units, a hematology/oncology unit, and outpatient suites. Patient rooms are family-centered and include sleeping accommodations and private bathrooms for two family members. There are also family lounges with kitchenettes and an outdoor playground to provide family members with a place to relax and socialize.
